    Works perfect.

    No loss of speed with sensors, typical light loss but surprisingly sharp images. Even with image stabilization, it works best from tripod as, when mated to the 16x lens, brings the magnification well beyond handheld capabilities. I turn OFF the image stabilization and use a tripod and get great videos, waterfowl on a sunny lake have almost no "anomalies".

    Great Addition

    I bought this as a spare lens being that I run up to three Canon XL1 cameras at one time and may need a spare. I have used this lens quite a bit and it works perfectly. This was a great buy.
