This deep dome reptile light has a diameter of 5.5 inches. It sports a polished aluminum surface inside the dome, which increases the output of UVB and UVA rays. Fluker's Reptile Dome Lamp takes a maximum bulb wattage of 100 and works best with Fluker's Sun Spot and Sun Glow bulbs. Because of the deep dome, longer bulbs are concealed from view. The ceramic socket is compatible with incandescent bulbs, ceramic heat emitters, mercury vapor bulbs, and compact fluorescent bulbs.

Dome Reptile light
Originally bought this to use because a switch on my hood went bad. Then a second switch died so I ordered a second one. They provided effective light for my box turtle. Now I’m using them as basking lights along with the hood (switches fixed). They help provide a nice temperature gradient in my terrarium!

This Is A Great Lamp For Your Sun Loving Reptiles!! It Provides The Overhead Light Source They Crave. I Especially Like That This Lamp Comes With A On Off Switch. Be Sure To Use A Reptile Bulb That Will Make The Correct Amount Of HeatUV You Need For The Size Of Enclosure You Have, Plus How Much Venting You Supply. PS, Don't Allow The Cord To Touch The Lamp When Its Turned On!
