    The item arrived on time, as described. It shipped the same day, just as promised. A minor note: Tracking wasn't provided until the day of delivery! That left me thinking it hadn't shipped. I sent two messages asking when it would ship and got no response. While the item still arrived fast, a quick update or earlier tracking would have been a nice touch. Overall, this was truly a 5-star experience for the product quality and shipping speed. But probably a 3 star for communication.

    Listed as having "Scratch and dent" but more like a small crack, worse than blurry pictures suggested. Also should not have been listed as "Open Box" considering damage. However, still a decent value, packaged well, delivered on time.

    Great Product

    This is to be installed on another guitar for a little more flexibility. My original unit is installed on a Fender Stratacoustic and this one will be installed on a solid body Stratacaster. The original one is awesome played through a Roland GR effects pedal, creating enormous instrument sounds opportunities. The sale priced was a great enhancement!

    The good/bad about the GK-3 Guitar divided pickup

    Well, let’s start with the good, it works out designed and is the only option for connecting to Roland guitar processors that are sampler based. The bad is not horrible except for two things as of now. The unit is not wireless so you will have to be corded to the processor. Also do unit does not remove easily as in taking it off. Plugging it back in it. Either is screwed in place or it is double sided tape to the guitar. The problem with this is if you have a snug fitting guitar case the unit really sticks out, the only way around this is a universal nylon soft case that allows some stretching room. Which adds another 100 bucks to the cost of the “to use” price. PS one thing good about getting a new kit with all the included parts is the fact that it all the brackets and screws will ...

    Cool synth tones from your guitar

    I use this through a Roland GR-33 (older version of GR-55) that goes to a synth amp and I also have a separate guitar signal from the same guitar that goes to my guitar amp. I can get amazing synth pad tones behind the guitar. Many people wonder if my band has a keyboard player because they can't figure out where the cool synth tones are coming from live. The GK3 opens up a world of possibilities to guitarists who are open to experimenting!

    Great pickup

    Works great on my 335 guitar. I also have one on my LP guitar works great. This has to be plugged into a GR 55 by Roland

    Great Addition to your Guitar

    Using this Pick-up adds so much to the palette of sounds you can achieve when going synth. It is an easy set-up adding this to your guitar, just follow instructions and maybe go to you-tube for visual assistance.
