Little heavy with great quality
The reel is a little heavier than say the Zebco 33's that use 10 pound line. It does have a very smooth operation and seems to cast a little easier and or further than other similar models. Personal preference would have been to have a double handle like level cast reels but this would obviously also add more weight to the reel. The handle does function well though. A hard cast may cause the pickups to engage during the cast but an easy or moderate casts works well. Sturdy construction and light weight.
