Over 3 hours of BBC recordings including tracks from 'Saturday Club', 'A Whole Scene Going', 'Top Gear' with John Peel and more. Newly sourced from rare, hard-to-find and archival sources, the BBC's Yardbirds recordings have been expertly repaired and restored especially for this updated 'Live At The BBC Revisited' album. The result is the best sounding and most comprehensive Yardbirds BBC collection released to date, with many tracks making their official debut on CD. Included during the 3 hours of recordings are versions of smash hits such as 'For Your Love' and 'Heart Full Of Soul' as well as Yardbirds stage favourites 'Too Much Monkey Business', 'Smokestack Lightning', 'I'm A Man' and 'Train Kept A-Rollin'. Also included is the complete legendary final BBC session featuring 'White Summer' and 'Dazed And Confused'. British guitar legends Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page feature alongside frontman Keith Relf, Paul SamwellSmith, Jim McCarty and Chris Dreja in these sessions recorded by the world-renowned BBC. Includes a booklet, with detailed recording and programme information, photos and a new essay by Mike Stax (editor of 'Ugly Things' magazine) with contributions from original Yardbirds members, Jim McCarty and Paul Samwell-Smith.
