The drive was manufactured in 2020, has 36,000 hours powered on (which is 4 years of use). Average failure rate for this drive according to the backblaze reports is ~0.5% per year, so plenty of miles left in this with any luck! Cheers

Older than first drive I ordered from seller, but all OK -- luck of the draw! - Well-packaged, fast delivery Would buy again, cheers.

They suggested 2 alternatives (or full refund). Both were sensible alternatives and I chose one. This arrived promptly.
