Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Reviews
"The book is rich in concrete examples of structural and social inequalities and in personal narratives challenging the notion that the U.S. is a land of equality. We expect that instructors will find its comprehensive nature useful and, more importantly, that students will be engaged by its timely, spirited, and accessible content."-- Maia Bloomfield Cucchiara & Davinah S. The essays address the multiplicity and scope of oppressions ranging from ableism to racism and other less-well known social aberrations., Readings for Diversity and Social Justice is the market leading anthology to cover the full scope of social oppression from a social justice standpoint., For more than a decade, Readings for Diversity and Social Justice has been the trusted, leading anthology to cover the full range of social oppressions from a social justice standpoint. With full sections dedicated to racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism, and ableism, as well as transgender oppression, religious oppression, and adult and ageism, this bestselling text goes far beyond the range of traditional readers. New essay selections in each section of this third edition have been carefully chosen to keep topic coverage timely and readings accessible and engaging for students. An updated companion website with additional resources, including video clips that further complement the readings in each section. Strong and accessible section introductions to highlight key points and relate the essential concepts of any given topic to other forms of oppression. - v***v (2055)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufAlthough this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate.
