I have only read the first few pages but noticed after looking through it that it seems thorough and is illustrated with many informative maps showing, for example, the migration routes of Asians through Beringia and into America. Also, there are excellent timelines with just enough detail for the independent reader fascinated with U.S. history to take notes and summarizes as he or she goes along.
