    Great book, that introducing what could be eye- opening content for many as well as mark the start of a new journey to a healthier lifestyle. The author makes fairly complicated processes easy to understand so that this invaluable information can be consumed by anyone interested in understanding how their eating affects their body. I have bought multiple copies already to give to family. Highly recommend!

  • There's more to obesity than meets the eye.

    The author is so knowledgeable and explains how the body works to make us fat in such a way that I felt motivated to tackle the weight struggle again with new vigor. He explained complex ideas in layman's terms. I went through after and wrote down key phrases and taped them to my refrigerator. Check him out on YouTube also. He has a lot of videos there which are very inspiring. Fasting is encouraged. I followed his advice to eat 1 meal a day and lost 20 lbs. in 3 months.

  • Research based, good info

    For a book on the subject this book has been 'relatively' captivating. I'm just getting into fasting for health reasons and as a way to also lose weight. There are numerous large studies that are cited in this book that have been helpful to me and understanding the way that my body works. It was a good value on eBay.

  • The weight loss program definitely works

    I do not jump on ever bandwagon that comes along. But, the research references the author quotes fills several pages. His logic is right on. So, I tried it and easily dropped 12 lbs. And, my A1C went down significantly....well below the point of what was impending diabetes. The book was an easy read too...even amusing at times.

  • A must read !!

    This book has changed the way I eat for good. It really opened my eyes. The way you have been taught to eat is wrong. I sincerely hope that people get a hold of this. I've lost a lot of weight and not been hungry. Also had blood tests done 6 months apart and all of my numbers bear out the proof. I have gotten other people to read it with similar results. Wish I could have read it 30 years ago.
