Good performer, but hard drives are so 20th century.
This Seagate Hard Drive performs as good as, but not better, than any other hard drive. That is to say, it has tremendous storage capacity for a dirt cheap price, and will give good (speedy) performance until it begins to fill up. Really, don't even consider using this as a boot drive (the drive your operating system is on). Spend $65 for a name brand 256GB SSD, and then install this hard drive in a spare drive bay in your case. Load the operating system on the SSD and store your files on the hard drive. While you are at it, spend $75 on a 2TB USB hard drive and back up all your files to it. This is ENTERPRISE Grade. Confidence is high : )

flawless and imediately successful raid configuration
I installed 4 of these in a Dell G11 server as a raid 5. The success was immediate and they run like a charm. Seagate 2TB ST2000NM0033 REVIEW:
It seems to be a pretty good HDD, I poped it into my custom PC and worked with no issues. nyaa- NOTICE: This HDD does come to you in a RAW format meaning you have to go into "Disk Management", locate the RAW HDD, and convert it to NTFS before you can use it (which takes about a day to convert it BTW). nyaa- May comeback and comment on it after 6 months of operation. nyaa-Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt
