    Just what I needed.

    It works great on my son's 2012 Kia Forte 4 door. The directions leave a little to be desired as is usual with a lot of the imported products. However the material and worksmanship seem to be of sufficient quality and most people can figure out the installation in a reasonable amount of time, ( about 1 hr for me). The most important thing when ordering is to measure the distance between the rain gutters on your car, as there are apparently two different lengths of crossbars that you may order. Overall a good product.

    It's not the strongest material

    This is the second one I purchased and the first-hand one was not that strong but for the money it's pretty good. I did bid a little less than was wanted but you still didn't accept it I really don't like that. The first one I bought I put on very strongly and but it's still blew off my car with the with the kayaks on it.

    Failed on day two.

    Luckily I didn’t have my bike on the rails! On the second day of having the rack installed one of the ratcheting mechanisms failed and it slipped off its mounting point on the roof of the car. Too bad, because they otherwise seemed sturdy enough and looked nice. Ratcheting mechanism is definitely a weak point in the design! Spend the extra money and get a brand-name semi-custom set of crossbars. Maybe my set was a fluke but I’d not be willing to try a second time.

    Cheap

    Danger of scratching paint off window lips even with extra layer of tape that was not included. I even youtubed for help. They do not latch tight enough due to cheap weak metal ratchet system, so they slide in wind while driving causing paint damage on my 2014 ford focus se. Poor design and fit for my vehicle even tho shipping was free and price was very affordable.
