Product Information
A British mine clearance expert runs afoul of the Taliban government while working in Afghanistan in this thriller starring Shaun Dooley (EDEN LAKE, THE RED RIDING TRILOGY). Kandahar, Afghanistan: 1999. Decades of warfare have left the Afghani desert littered with landmines. The Taliban is in power, and ex-British Army officer Richard Lee (Dooley) is digging for mines under the scorching hot sun when he incurs the wrath of corrupt local police chief Ashiq Khan (Rasheed Naz). As a result, Lee is labeled an infidel and marked for death. Now his only hope for escape is to cross the border into Pakistan. Desperate, Lee ventures deep into the desert and encounters a group of rebel fighters who agree to help him on his journey.
