The spruce base fits snuggly on the flask. It's not a loose fit by any means. It's snug. Fairly easy to put on and take off. If you have bad arthritis in your hands it may be more difficult. I found it to be a nice product designed and made solidly. For the price it seems to be a reasonable value. I trust JETS to sell quality products at a fair price. Fast professional shipping!👍👍
