Leica LTM to M-Mount 6-Bit Adapter
While not 100% essential to picture-taking using your older Leica lenses, this adapter is a great way to NOT have to remember to make the necessary M-240/MM-242 in-camera adjustment when you mount a non-6-Bit lens. Perhaps more importantly, use of the adapter also means you get the EXIF data imbedded into your metadata, something most find a necessary complement to their work. Buy some flat black and flat white fingernail polish to color the code, scrape off the excess after application, mount the adapter to your LTM lens and you are ready to shoot! Although I only needed one I should have bought another for any future, unforeseen, use when I stumble upon a lens I'd like to try.

Focusing Problems
This adapter works as advertised, in that it fits nicely onto the lens and allows you to use a Minolta lens on a Leica body. What they fail to mention, however, is that the adapter changes the focusing of the lens. Focusing with the rangefinder on my Leica M8 no longer worked, and setting the distance measurement on the lens to match the distance to the subject resulted in out-of-focus shots. If you have a Leica SLR, this adapter would probably work, since you would be focusing through the lens. With a rangefinder, the workaround would be to figure out what the conversion from true distance-to-subject to distance-on-the-lens would be. Even then, you would lose the ability to finely focus (especially important with wide aperatures). Nicely made product, but for rangefinder users not a good choice.

Leica Substitute That Works Great
Well made product. Allowed my Leica T camera to use M mount lenses perfectly. A fraction of the cost of the Leica brand.

Works perfectly, great value
The lens release button feels a bit cheap. The camera side finish is anodized aluminium, which maybe doesn't slide quite as smoothly as stainless when you attach it. But this is nitpicking. This adapter cost me $12.95 and it works perfectly. Aside from the things I mentioned the finish is pretty decent. This was one of the first adapters I bought but now I have seven of these for different mounts. Unbeatable value.

Nice quality adapter
Glad to find an inexpensive and good quality Leica T adapter. Used to have to buy an expensive Leica M to T adapter and a MD to Leica M adapter to use my Minolta legacy lenses. This adapter is both inexpensive and convenient. Highly recommended.

Smart buy if you want to play with vintage glass
Wish it would have come with caps for the front and back, but overall it's solid. Fun to use vintage glass on my Panasonic S1H!

Well Made, Better Priced
You can spend well over $200 for a Novoflex adapter like this for your Nikkor optics, but with today's proliferation of excellent CNC machines, you don't need to spend that much, particularly for a non-electronic adapter. It is very much like my more pricy Novoflex adapter (which I sold off ten years ago).
