    New in box tripod, as advertised. There was a bit of a delay, as UPS lost it in transit, not the seller's fault. A few days after I inquired with the seller about this, they replied with an option for a refund or resend - chose resend, have received and checked out tripod, and all is well. Would do business with them again in the future.

    recommended with mic plugged into PC soundcard

    PC soundcards, especially motherboard integrated, have low voltage for microphone power. This phantom power supply will boost microphone signal up to 20dB. Signal boost is not much noticeable with dedicated soundcard as it has higher phantom voltage and external phantom power unit is not necessary. Warning for EU 230V country voltage, US power adapter can't be used with simple reduction! For 230V you will need any other adapter with AC 18V(12V minimum) output.

    Only used once but turned on and worked, no added noise from it, hoping it will last a long time !

    I bought this because my bandmate had a Neewer Mic that needed phantom power. We are finally getting back to recording, for the most part just me for now, I didn't even realize this phantom power was the same brand as the mic. I was pretty skeptical about this brand because you get what you pay for but but right now I'm on an ultra budget for recording and this, I was hoping, would at least satisfy my minimal needs. It has surpassed that. Both the mic and the phantom power are surprisingly clear. I've had many other mics and this one is right up there with them in quality almost. I haven't really done a bunch testing yet but I am happy. If this phantom power box lasts more than 5 years I'll be real happy and looking for another for sure.

    Does great!!!

    It came with what it was suppose to come with. I use it to hook up my condenser mic to my computer for game streaming. Only thing I notice that I had to force turn up the mic cause no matter how close I was to it I sounded very quiet. Easy fix on setting. Haven’t had any other problems regardless. If you plan on purchasing this make sure you also purchase the special cord that plugs into computer in which this bunch only has the power cable and the mic cable but not the computer cable.

    To wrap up your Neewer setup

    It works fine, simple to use, but the DC plug is huge. Also, that silver tab you see above the input plug can get caught on your xlr cable and make it a pain in the ass to unplug. I still can't get mine out so i used another cable extender with the right male end to connect to my mic. Maybe its just mine.

    I just plugged it in and it stopped working after a minute or two (This Happen to me too)

    Yes Just a few min I use There are smoke from adapter it's so danger ! I wouldn't recommend buying this product too. ************************ I'm so sry for my review before this is my bad not a product in my country voltage is 220v and product's adapter is 110v So the way to fix it is Find a new adapter 18 - 20 V(AC or DC) and Amp more than 600mA
