    Nice upgrade for my 2020 Sorento!

    I just purchased a 2020 Kia Sorento and was bummed it didn’t have Homelink already in the vehicle. After doing some research I purchased this mirror. Install was pretty simple but the instructions that came with the mirror were not up to date for my 2020 with lane keep assist. Luckily I found a YouTube vehicle that helped figure out how to remove the OEM mirror from my vehicle. Connecting the wire harness was the most difficult part of the install. Not easy to see some of the small wires so had to be super careful to get the correct ones. Mirror works great and I’m happy to have the Homelink to open my garage door.

    I love the features and enjoyed the installation!

    This mirror can be a intimidating to install, especially if you have never pulled the interior of your car apart. I have some experience installing radios, electronics, etc in my other cars and had no issues installing this mirror. And while my old mirror did have a plug (it had the dimming feature) that plug was not compatible with the plug you get with this mirror. I don't understand or pretend to know why this is so, but it is what it is. Thankfully the instructions are very detailed and easy to understand... all you need is a little confidence and elbow grease get the job done.

    Doesn't fit original connector but it works

    Not sure why Kia doesn't make their mirror connectors standard. A tip for future users: throw out the supplied connectors and wire up the original connector to the mirror connector with some breadboard jumper wire. The supplied connector doesn't even have the reverse sense wire!
