    Argh! Those ridges!

    These are beautifully made needles, the laminated, coloured birch is lovely to handle and very pretty. Really gets you raring to go and then, Doh! the damn yarn get snagged and hitched and caught in those ridges every time! Cables are wrestled together rather than smoothly and smugly slid into being and if you're making a heavily cabled fisherman's sweater design, it feels close on to shark wrestling! I bought them to match other items for their beauty and I supposed their pleasure of use, as everything else in this range is splendid but, No!

    Wonderful quality

    Oh how much I love KnitPro needles. Always so expertly finished and comfortable to use. The weight of these needles is beautifully light but they still feel sturdy and the grooves in the needles gave me the confidence to try a pattern I had wanted to do for a while and I am so glad I did. I'm not fully happy with how my dwarf has turned out but that is operator error and in no way caused by the needles and the great thing with yarn is it's easy enough to unpick and have another go. My absolute favourite KnotPro range is their symphony range, which are just so beautiful, which on top of the quality makes them a must as far as I can concerned for all of my knitting and crotchet needs.

    Knitpro cable needles

    I brought these thinking they were good. I am a seasoned knitter, but sadly to say these aren't like other cable needles ,they have grooves cut into them presumably so your stiches don't slide off but they stop your stiches moving along the needle to the other end and get caught up in the grooves.I found them very frustrating and went back to my old needles.

    Great Product for the money

    Great product for all three sizes - the ridges can be a bit tricky until you master them.
