The old one went up in the usual cloud of smoke. Not bad for a component made from a silver paper sandwich is it. Easy to change with a soldering iron after cutting short the the wires of the old one and soldering the replacement to them.

Nikko do a good selection of hard to find (in this case retro) parts from the UK and I trust they are genuine parts and I don't like buying from China so happy I can purchase from them and have done so happily multiple times. However, I do find the dispatch overall to be a bit slow and missed the last EBay delivery date slightly on almost all occasions so factor that possibility into your schedule when ordering.
