2009 Kia Spectra
Nice kit, very complete, fairly easy to install, works well. Only problem is recomended right control makes it hard to use ignition key, should have gotten left side control. Should include a rubber grommet for the wires passing thru the firewall. Overall best cruise kit I have installed.

Good well made product! Easy install for a DIY'ER!
Great Product, easy install if you are one who can do those kinds of things. If you are not a DIY'ER I would recommend getting it professionally installed. If you do it yourself, I would also recommend that you get Rostra's Combo Cruise Stalk for your application: They plug right into the harness which makes it much easier! Pricier but easier!

2002 Hyundai Santa Fe Install
Worked perfectly in our 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L. Install was very simple once you figure out where to mount the servo motor. From there on the instructions were very easy to follow and very accurate. The only real problem I had was finding the VSS wire. The instructions that came with it did not have the 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe on the list. The VSS wire is position 14 on the ODB2 port (brown wire). Took it for a 125 mile test drive and it worked to perfection.

This Cruise control retrofit kit seems quite complete and it should work just fine on most everything that is not one of the latest cars. I got it largely because of what others have said about Rostra's assistance with installation. My Volvo ids not on their list of applications but they apparently are happy to help with different cars. Well, they have not bothered to answer two requests for information, leaving me to guessing about settings for installation. I am sure that when I finish installation it will work just as intended but it would be a lot better with authoritative assistance. Really, I am sure I am not the only person to ever install this kit on a Volvo and I'm just as sure that Rostra knows or can find specifics about this application. It would be nice if they wanted to help.

Rostra Universal Cruise Control for Honda Civic
I did my research and purchased all items needed to complete this mission, i started installing the unit after obtaining all the knowledge necessary for the electrical connection points as well as various other needed info..after about 5 seperate installation episodes lasting about 1 to 2 hours each, i made the final connection and went for a test drive....Holy Cow! this thing works remarkable, i had no problems with any aspect of the installation, i took my time and got it done without a hitch. the unit works nearly like factory installed..no surging, except a slight pull when engaging, then it falls back to the speed you set and holds that speed spot on, accelerate works smooth as well as all the features, i am so please with this product! i also bought the throttle kit which includes the hardware specifically for this vehicles engine and as a result, making cable connection to the throttle plate was a snap, and i mean that, i would say the hardest part was fishing the fire wall through an existing grommet, and of course working on your back under the dash. If you have any doubts about this products ability, DONT! its awsome, just make sure you know what your doing, very important for you to find out all you need to know about connection points to your vehicle, the rest is a snap!

Motorhome Upgrade
Pros: Good quality, Easy install, Nice Long wiring harness which made install in motorhome possible without having to add extensions. Settings and adjustments were straight forward. The self test feature was really helpful with insuring setup was done properly. Hard to imagine life without cruise control and air conditioning !!! Cons: None so far !!!

has the regular features
unite was reasonably easy to install only have one complaint. at speeds in town truck is constantly surging. set at 40mph truck goes up and down does not hold one steady spead, like the factory units do. Unit was ordered to fit 1988 toyota p/u when looking at instructions saw that 1988 p/u was not listed as avehicle this unit would work on.. Called Rosta was told I would need to buy speed sensor, this should have been noted when I bought the unit since I looked it up on their web site for my 1988 TOYOTA p/u

Perfect for what I wanted it for.
Very easy to fit, good instructions. Have tested in action and it just works.... Holds speed to +/- 1mph uphill or down in my vehicle. Just one thing to add, when fitted to an automatic with the Neutral Safety Switch connected you need to remember to carry out the switch tests with the gearbox NOT in park or neutral otherwise the test light is on due to the NSS wire being grounded. Recommended!

Awesome product!
After starting to search for wires I noticed my “JDM” Subaru Forester wire colours were slightly different than anything I could find in the booklet and internet. That did not stop me from wiring up the system! Once the proper wires were found and hooked up it worked flawless. I’ve used SCS systems in the past but was very impressed with Rostras selection of options for hookup. Once installed the system worked as should and the cruising shall begin!

The is the 3rd time I have used the rostra Universal set. Works great and can be tuned to your preference
