Much prefer the look of a tortoiseshell pickguard with the cream white finish on my MIM Precision, giving it a more vintage vibe compared to the original plain black plate. One of the screw holes was a wee bit off in relation to the holes in the body, but this was a very minor quibble and certainly not something I'll be losing sleep over. It's also a printed pattern, not an authentic tortoiseshell effect. Given the price, I'm not at all fussed. It's for a project parts-caster p-bass. But if I was to order again, I'll go for the "Dark Brown Tortoiseshell" as opposed to the Red/Brown Tortoiseshell. A great fit for my 2021 Squier Affinity Precision PJ bass. Just a small amount of sanding required to make a perfect fit and that’s expected and definitely preferred to a guard that’s too big around the pick up so thanks again!
