They got it to me way earlier than listed and I got to say, in all the years buying things by mail, this seller by far super wrapped the best.     Good to have on DVD, but top and bottom of picture clipped

    I first saw this movie on Midway Island in 1966 while in the Navy there. Always liked it. Quirky, good music, fun. Bought the VHS when it came out. Recently recorded on DVR when some channel played it. Decided I wanted a DVD. I could compare between the DVD, the VHS, and the just recorded one on DVR. The top and bottom of the DVD are clipped as part of their making it "full screen". This is very obvious. For many, this won't interfere with the enjoyment of the movie. But it did bother me a little. It would have been nice to have some further information on the DVD considering the Francis Ford Coppola connection, but it is the movie only. Lacking that, people really should read up on this movie on Wikipedia or elsewhere. I took off one star due to the clipping. If they are ...

    The 60s are back (did they ever leave?)

    A great remnant of that mid-1960s vide of rebellion and liberation. Hard to believe that it was Francis Ford Coppola's grad school thesis project -- it's that good. If you're a fan of "Harold and Maude" you'll enjoy this film and it's sometimes dark humor. Karen Black, Julie Harris, Geraldine Page, Rip Torn, Peter Kastner: what a cast! Plus it has a musical soundtrack by the Lovin' Spoonful, what more could you want?
