Notes
2018 release, the fourth album from country music singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves. Kacey describes this album as having a "trippy" twist, citing the Bee Gees, Sade, and Neil Young as influences. In addition to reuniting with previous collaborators such as Luke Laird, Shane McAnally, and Natalie Hemby, Musgraves sought out pals Ian Fitchuk and the Silver Seas' Daniel Tashian as her primary co-producers and co-writers. Musgraves wrote and recorded most of the songs from the album throughout 2017; about the writing process she said: "I have a lot more love songs this time around, and I've never been one to write a love song and really feel it,". She continued: "That probably sounds like the most depressing thing ever. [But] I'm coming off getting married and being in this golden hour of my personal life, where all these things are finally coming to fruition. I found myself inspired to write about this person and all these things he brought out in me that weren't there before".

    Item arrived exactly as described. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well enough, though there was an extra minor crack in the jewel case, which I'm OK with as the CD and artwork are undamaged. I chalk that up to shipping and handling being rough, outside of the seller's control. Overall, I'm glad to have this in my collection.

    Mine wasn't "brand new"

    This was listed as brand-new, but it's clearly a very good used album which was re-wrapped. There were scraches on the plastic and on the top of the disc. The case also sticks and is hard to open. I don't really mind enough to return it, but it was disapointing to buy something listed as "brand-new" that clearly wasn't.

    Love this artist

    I absolutely love this CD. It’s calming it’s uplifting it’s unique and I love the band has its own sound and the artist is superb. So glad I bought it. I heard the singer on Austin city limits and really fell in love with her and her music. I hope to hear more from her.

    Golden Hour

    This is a great album - a bit more mellow than her previous releases - but still jam packed with the heart and soul of Kacey! Who doesn’t love this girl??? She is a talented sweet honest spirt - and it all shines clearly in her music!
