Homade pasta
I absolutely love this machine! For years I have made my own pasta with organic flour and rolled it out on the counter. What a pain to do but I love fresh pasta so much it made it worth it. When I came across this machine I just had to have one and I don't regret it a bit. It is quick, easy and best of all, no mess on my counter. Most of the attachments are easy to clean but the ones with small holes take longer.. Wonderful
Have had my hand crank pasta machine for about 30 years. Sure it dies good job, but is it easy to use? No! Attaches awkwardly to my counter and requires a balancing act when the pasta comes out. I have a kitchen aide either pasta attachment and it burned the motor out. This machine is solid, well made and mixes and extrudes several different shapes. Worth every dime!
This is a terrific machine! It is easily put together and taken apart, easily cleaned and stored. I have only made the smaller of the two sizes so far and it finishes its job in less than the advertised time. The dies are easily stored. My only complaint is that I would have liked a couple of more dies for different pasta shapes, but they can be purchased separately. 1st time user
We were really surprised at how easy the Philips Advanced Pasta Maker is to use. Mix all your dry ingredients and put in the hopper. Turn it on to let it cycle a bit and then add your liquids. Have something to catch your pasta and cut to whatever length you want it as it comes out or let it go and cut it later or don't cut it at all. Best extra appliance I have ever bought
We have three hand pasta machines but this is so much easier. No mess and easy to clean. The best part is the pasta itself is so tasty. We used semolina flour and an egg. Made penne and linguine. I was very happy with the consistency of the pasta and it cooked up beautifully. Well worth the price. Philips Avance Pasta & Noodle Maker - HR2357/05
This pasta maker could not be faster or easier to clean. From adding the liquid to extrusion takes less than 2 minutes. Clean up is a snap. I do wonder why there is no linguine shaper? Does Philips have something against linguine? Overall this machine looks like it is made to last with a metal auger and sturdy construction. Great pasta, if you follow instructions. Really impressed by results !!!
Have used it only twice. Simple to use, perfect result. Just add flour, then liquid and start (follow instructions re. flour and liquid amounts/ratios). Result is amazing and tastes really great. Easy homemade pasta

A good extruder that I feel comfortable recommending
A very good home pasta maker. It is a real work horse, too. Cleaning, like all the pasta extruders, is a bit involved so when I use it, I make extra pasta and freeze it.
