Frosty FIFA
So this was my first FIFA game in a good while. Took some time researching which one was the best in the last ten years as these games come out each year and not much changes to them. So was definitely looking for something different. FIFA 17 rose to the top because it was the first time the game was powered by the frost bite engine. Having played other games powered by frost bite, I knew this would be a good thing. Overall the game is well done. Nothing new except smoother animation as a result of the engine. The only major draw back is the lack of a tutorial when it comes to understanding what needs to be done during the skills challenges. Just it tells you press O or X to shoot or pass the ball but other than that, no other info on how to get a great challenge score. Maybe if I had ... So this was my first FIFA game in a good while. New (to 2017) journey mode takes the franchise to a whole new level.
The FIFA franchise has always been solid. Some prefer PES some prefer FIFA. However, the new journey mode is a killer feature. It’s a fantastic way to play a sports game. You go through the academy then training and even get “sent down to the minors” to build up your character. It’s a great way to learn the game too if you’re new to FIFA franchise. Loving his game!

Can't seem to be able to play with astigmatism unfortunately. The control is superb so really need to see the ball in the players feet to defend or dribble. To make matters worse, the indicator to show which player you're actively controlling is just as tiny, and the text in messages of career mode or training is just as small and printed in white. Terrible design but an otherwise phenomenal game. Shame I can't play it without sitting 10" away from a 42" TV...Can't seem to be able to play with astigmatism unfortunately. Probably the best FIFA game on PS4.
The graphics and gameplay are great, it is very fun to play, and it adds a cool story mode to the game. I really enjoyed this FIFA installment. It's definitely worth a pickup!

Great game
I bought this for my grandson. He has spent hours playing it and we've had to put limits on playing time. The graphics are very good. The only drawback are the coins. He was asking for additional money almost immediately. Since I didn't give it to him he has learned to enjoy it without.
