Excellent book, well-documented examples
I had to purchase this book for a graduate level course. I hesitated buying it because I had previously read the 4th edition a few years back. Lo and behold, this 6th edition is some fantastic stuff. I like the hardcover exterior, and the pages are of very high quality. The book itself is very colorful and filled with assorted graphs, charts, statistics. But enough about the visuals. Content wise, the book is well organized into different sections, each loaded with in-depth analysis and insight. The graphics the textbook has added (since the 4th edition) make the reading experience more palatable and appealing. The book focuses on the fundamentals of leadership and breaks leadership down to Five Practices and Ten Commitments. The content is not difficult to read and the authors have spent a tremendous amount of time really digging into all the elements and facets that contribute to outstanding leadership.
