    Perfect "like-new" open box condition. Looks like it was never used aside from a possibly function check. Seller packaged it very well and handed it over to the carrier ahead of estimate. Unfortunately there were several days it was stuck in shipping and was delivered late. But that is no fault of the seller. When I messaged a question, the seller responded in under an hour! This is my second lens purchase from this seller and I will certainly come here for my next lens purchase!

    A solid, well made piece of kit that works very well but autofocus is not supported with my lens when the extender is fitted.

    Item arrived promptly in condition as described. I have used it a couple of times already and I am very impressed with the image quality. However a word to the unwary - although the image stabiliser on my lens still functions normally, autofocus does not when the extender is in place, but I can cope with manually focussing images on the few occasions that I use the extender.

    Canon 2x Teleconverter

    This TC works only with a select group of Canon lenses, including the Canon 70-200 f/4 L and 100-400 L. Works well with no noticeable degradation of image quality. However, the laws of optics dictate that an F/4 lens becomes an F/8, or the 100-400 becomes an f/11. The camera body’s autofocus will be affected. On a 7D mark 2 may only have the center AF point functional, or have to use Live View with the camera on a tripod. On an R mount camera, you should have pretty much full AF function.

    Extrenders are not as sharp as a prome lens but it's to being sharp enough. Not suitable for pro photograhy.

    The product makes the camera very heavy however thr yhe image is sharp but not critically so.

    Good item. Works for lens greater that f4, though, as it stops down to twice the maximum aperture and most cameras cannot autofocus at f8. Consider the 1.4x extender as this will work with f4 lenses.

    Just what I needed

    I have an older body (5d mkii) so the autofocus is not compatible. But everything else works perfect.
