    Easy to install and works great

    The switch was very easy to install, and took minutes to program. I use it to cycle outdoor lights on my house. We kept forgetting to turn them off in the morning, resulting in lots of wasted money. After looking at the big box stores, I was ready to shell out $50 for a switch like this when I found this one. I had it installed in 10 mins (Note: It DOES REQUIRE a white neutral wire and a ground wire) and it has been working perfectly ever since. Great product!

    Working great so far!

    This timer appears to cover all functions that could be desired in a timer. Easy to program, can be set for individual day events, or for reoccurring events each day throughout a seven day period. Handles a wide variety of fixtures too, including LED lamps. The built in battery backup feature is great. The back-lit display on the newer models is a big plus also.

    Good choice - good price

    This unit installed without trouble and works great. My only complaint is the programming. It's not difficult, but the lack of a single 7 day option makes it harder. As it is, you can program Mon through Fri in one stretch, but then Sat and Sun need to be picked up as a second program. For my purpose, I would like to just program it once for the entire 7 days.

    Auto switch

    This switch has worked perfect ever since I got it an installed. It controls my store sign programmed to go on an off Monday -Friday 10:00am - 9:30pm Saturday 10:00am - 8:30pm and Sunday 11:00am - 7:30pm as you can see it can be tailored to your needs I have only three settings set up an they were easy to do, not to mention you can manually override it on an off.

    Programming the switch

    I did not give this unit a 5 stars because of two reasons, difficulty in programming and instructions clarity. After some time configuring the cables, i programmed it several way and it would turn on at 8:00p.m. but there supposed to turn off at 5a.m. and they instead would turn off at midnight. i then programmed it from 8 to midnight and from midnight to 5am. but when i woke up in the morning they would be turning off at midnight again. i gave up and took them off and went back to the on/off switch. Not very easy to program.
