Tom Daniel's Rommels Rod, a touch of nostalgia
I brought this kit because I had built one back in my youth. Monogram re-issued some of theses old kits, but some were limited runs, so some modelers my just want to collect them. If you can get this kit, it'll be a fun build out of the box, if you're like me. I build mostly military and some Sci-Fi with multi-medias. So this is for me is a fun break to just build straight out of the box. This kit would be great for someone just getting into the hobby and may have built a few snap-tight kits and now wants to move up to using glue. This is a simple build with few small parts and large parts to glue without a high parts count. This will build into a nice model, even if one isn't up to painting, but if one did it a simple painting job. The instructions are simple and straight forward for any beginner 10 yrs and up, boy or girl. Just have fun.
