Bronson's Loose Again!
This Special Edition Blu-Ray release of Death Wish II will likely be the final release of the film. I say that because it now shows the unrated cut along with the theatrical cut and has what is likely the most extras this film will ever have. There is a 6 plus minute photo gallery that's loaded with many pictures, a very informative audio commentary by author and Death Wish series fan Paul Talbot, a theatrical trailer and a short TV spot. The audio and picture of the movie, considering the films age, look and sound the best they ever will. I suggest this to fans of Charles Bronson and/or fans of the Death Wish series. It's a vigilante brand of poetic justice.
The sequel to "Death Wish", which continues to follow Charles Bronson's character as a architect who lost his wife at the hands of muggers in New York & became a vigilante that made the news. He was shot in the leg & instead of being arrested, the lead detective gave him a chance to leave New York for good. He finally transfer his business to L.A. where he committed his daughter to a santatariam because she was raped & mentally withdrawn the day his wife was murdered.
