A Good Study Bible Is Paramount
The MacArthur study bible has thousands of study notes located at the bottom of each page that explain the meaning and significance of the scriptures based on the Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew languages. There is also a wealth of historical, cultural and background information that is both interesting and critical to understanding the bible correctly. After using this study bible it has become the only bible I will use, and with diligence, patience and consistency, my knowledge and understanding of the bible and how to apply it to my life has increased greatly. I would definitely recommend this bible to anyone who wants to know more about the scriptures. it's a big Bible, worth carrying around for the access to good content
the John MacArthur Study Bible is very helpful to me because of its explanatory comments located in footnotes at the bottom of each page. NKJV is excellent, so is the commentary
