Exactly what's needed to replace digitizer on 2019 Nissan Sentra 7" head unit
Great product to just replace broken digitizer on Nissan factory 7" stereo.
Note, the product is aftermarket, not original one used by Nissan's supplier. Nevertheless, it functions just like original if installed properly. Couple of things to note. Original screen is affixed to a metal bracket, the broken screen will need to be separated, bracket cleaned and new double sided tape used to attach new screen. I used 2mm electronic repair double sided tape. Another very important note. The placement of the electronic connector is different on this replacement screen, but the length of the connector is longer to compensate for different placement. There is "just enough" cable length to get proper connection on Nissan's 2019 7" radio. I personally performed the repair and can attest that it works, but you have to be very careful with both disassembly and reassembly, including plugging in new screen connector.
This screen will save you at least $600 if you were planning to buy a used unit, or $1800 if you were going to buy a new unit from Nissan, not counting the installation cost.
