SynopsisAn internationally famous photographer, Tucker Mason has traveled the world, capturing things other people don't see. But what Tucker himself can't see is how to let go of the past and forgive his father., This tough and tender novel is about weathering adversity and recognizing the many faces of love, regardless of who, how, where, or why. Love is a risk--but Martin shows that it is far more dangerous to live without it., "Tucker, I want to tell you a secret," Miss Ella curled my hand into a fist and showed it to me. "Life is a battle, but you can't fight it with your fists. You got to fight it with your heart." An internationallly famous photographer, he has traveled the world and seen both the serious and the strange. But when his brother escapes from a mental hospital and an old girlfriend appears with her son and a black eye, Tucker is forced to return home and face the agony of his own tragic past. Back in rural Alabama, Tucker comes to terms with the ghosts he left behind. Miss Ella Rain once loved Tuck and his brother like they were her very own. Hiring her to take care of Waverly Hall and to keep them out of sight was the only good thing their father ever did. And though Miss Ella has been gone for many years, Tuck can still hear her voice., ""Tucker, I want to tell you a secret." Miss Ella curled my hand into a fist and showed it to me." • Wrapped in Rain

Charles Martin is an amazing author. This book, as well as all his books have a deep story to tell. Holds your interest until the end. With a few surprises mixed in. You won’t be disappointed. It is truly a great read.

  • Wrapped in Love

This novel was wonderfully written. There is so much to this book. I could not put it down until I had finished it. The influence of a substitute mother is throughout! And God's presence is always there?

  • Great books, No Trash.

Charles Martin books grab my attention in the first chapter, actually in the first few pages. I now have several of his books and I am sure I will eventually have all of them. He is a gifted writer you don`t want to miss out on. So far there has been no trash in his books that I have read. That alone is a plus, and the stories are great also.
