This one is a keeper!!
The DVD was in great shape as was the cover. It was delivered as promised on time. The movie itself is one of the greatest of all time. I can remember seeing this movie on the big screen in the '60's and then on stage. The music, the color, the band the actors are superb. I like the music the best. It was such a pleasure seeing it again. Definitely one I will never forget and watch at least once a year. So grateful it was still available.

Ordered the wrong DVD
Actually, I ordered this DVD by mistake, since I already had a copy. I needed to order "The Quiet Man" instead. Just used the wrong adjective or adverb or whatever. Never could get those two straight.

A Trip Back into Yesteryear
Being a lover of musicals, I had seen and loved this movie when it first came out and wanted to enjoy it again. The singing, music, and acting are wonderful, and it was refreshing to see a clean, happy movie.

great music
I bought this film as a Christmas present for my mother. She simply loves this film because of its music. As for me, I sometimes enjoy musicals sometimes. This is one very good musical.

Can't Improve on Perfect
Just watched this again and had forgotten just how delightful it is and what a great lesson it has for a theme. I then watched the newer version by Matthew Broderick and it was nowhere nearly as engaging or entertaining, which goes to show you can't improve on perfection.
