much admired
this series was and still is one of the best i have ever watched and i thought there were fine performances all round especially the role of penny by jan francis. as an old 'rocker' i liked the references to eddie cochran and buddy holly. the writer john sullivan is sorely missed.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Timeless Humour
Followed the original series in the 80s & found it just as funny 30 yrs on. A few of the lines are a bit non PC for C21st, but it's gentle humour hasn't dated at all. Classic comedy
Saw this series the first time round and it still holds up very well today. If anything, it seems funnier than it did all those years ago, with some killer lines for each member of the cast. Brilliant series
