Old Fave
This has been a favorite movie of mine since I was a child. My family was a group of dust bowl Okees who migrated to California during the depression, right down Route 66. Movie depicts what it was like before CCC, New Deal, and SSA. No safety nets. You just swim or sank. People need to watch this movie for enlightenment values. Hey, you can also read the book.

awesome movie , great cast, all aroung awesome movie,,
great cast , awesome movie , about a great book, I loved the movie it was awesome, the story was just awestruck,,, and you know you where in poverty for sure.. and the family sure did struggle..

All time great film
This has always been a favorite movie of mind andnwatched it 3 times since I got it. In trying to get my 7 year old into the old movies. Not much success. Not yet anyway

A Timeless Classic About the Dust Bowl Migration
This film is a brilliant enactment of the John Steinbeck novel, the incredible story of the Joad family uprooting from Oklahoma - destroyed by the dustbowl of the 1930's, as well as the economic catastrophe of the depression - heading west to the "eden" of California. Henry Fonda's seminal role as Tom Joad is the main character, showing him going from an ex con, buffeted by events trying to keep his family together (along with Ma Joad), and his political enlightenment. The undercurrent is of course the story of America at the time, people faced with amazing ordeals and yet persevering. Many great characters and performances. It's a must see, relevant to this day.

The grapes of wrath
Is a interesting movie showing what some of the real life events where like back then and the struggle people went through to survive if you think these times are so bad you should watch this movie movies like this are very hard to come by it really is a must see both interesting and historical events

The Grapes of Wrath
Outstanding film of an outstanding novel and the blu-ray is great. Every American, especially every Okie, needs to get right with The Grapes of Wrath.

All Time Classic - Grapes of Wrath
I consider "The Grapes of Wrath" among the best of route 66, post depression and dust bowl movies ever. It's great to have this on blu ray! It looks better than ever before.
