My dream comes true!
This was my favorite book as a child but my mother would only let me touch it when I had been very very well behaved. Long story short, mom passed over the peach orchard, I got the book to touch as much as I wanted. Then my house burned down and the book was gone forever I thought! Stories of my childhood.
My grandmother read me stories from this book 60 years ago. I have always cherished them and now I have them back in this edition. Reading them brought back many memories. Great book.
I was given a copy of this book as a child. It was my first Fairy Tale book and I loved it. It was lost and my husband found this copy and ordered it for me. It brought back many good memories. Not all tales end happily ever after and these aren't Disney versions. The fact that there are tales from all over the world make it unique. Greatly illustrated book.

Beautiful illustrations.
