Isn't it the best of both worlds? A relatively small appliance that provides K-cup coffee one-offs as well as 12 cups of coffee at your descression?!! There's much to like about this "Duo" coffee maker, and it's all quite affordable as Keurig coffeemakers go. It's quite efficient by design as well, and avoids some of the minor inconveniences that annoyed me in my last Keurig machine which was a single K-cup type of machine. There's one slight hiccup in the design, which I don't understand why it even exists since it would be so seemingly easy to have avoided, but it's the insertion of the coffee basket into the unit when you're getting ready to start a big pot of joe. It's glitchy as hell, and very difficult to learn how to do it smoothly. It sometime seems ok, but then it hangs up again and causes a few ugly words to exit the user's mouth. But one annoyance doesn't change anything but the lack of a five star rating for this reviewer. The coffee is hot and tasty and that's the important thing, am I right?

It’s just OK.
Coffee pot area makes “ok” coffee, lacks richness, seems to brew too fast and I feel I have to use extra coffee to reach the depth that I prefer. The filter is hard to remove and put back, i fee that it is going to break soon and not hold up. The water carafe is in the back and the machines bulky so for someone that has to lift it or move it to remove the water carafe this isn’t the pot for you. The k-cup part works, but you have a 6, 8, and 10 oz option so I have to buy very dark roast and special pods to make sure the coffee isn’t too watery. I buy the best pods and still find I don’t love the coffee. I’ve had the Ninja for years and it makes amazing coffee, both hot and iced. This does not compare. Thinking of pulling my Ninja back out to get the quality coffee I’m used to.

Great coffee maker if purchased at bargain price.
I got this coffee maker at a discount price. i would not have wanted to pay full price. It works fine but it is pretty ordinary. It does the job of making coffee. The coffee filter holder took me a while to figure out. You have to put the top clip into the grove to get it to load properly. I do wonder how it will hold up over time. My older Mr. Coffee seemed more durable than this coffee maker.

Water hard to get to
I like the dual function. Just one cup when I am in a hurry is very convenient. But two factors are difficult to deal with. First, the water tank is in back and hard to reach under a counter. Second, the pot volume brewed is limited to 8, 10 and 12 cups. Often I would prefer to make just 6 cups.

Excellent coffeemaker - Flexible and easy to use
I think we can all agree that Kuerig makes a complicated mechanical coffeemaker. That said, this unit works well and is easy to use in spite of the engineering degrees needed to create the internals. I think that the water flow rate for the single cup seems fast. I wish there was a way to slow it down and get more flavor out of either a disposable or reloadable pod. Would have been good to have a larger water tank as well. I has a reasonable footprint for a dual unit and overall I think most people would be happy with it - I am.

Great coffee brewing system!!
I love that you can make a full, large pot of coffee, without needing a special pod, or a single cup! We had a different model which had a carafe but needed a large pod, which was always messy to fill. And after less than years that one just stopped recognizing any pods we tried to use. Now we have a pot which uses regular filters so if the single serve side ever stops recognizing pods, we won't have to throw it out! The water well is easy to fill and is good for more than one pot and so far the coffee has tasted just right - not to weak and not too strong.

It is okay
I isnt better but it is easy to use and clean and does brew quickly. I dont like the water holder as it needs to be refilled more often than my other machine.

Simple, clean and easy to use
I love the versatility of this machine. So far I have no issues. The water takes a minute or two to heat up after turning the machine on, but that is not an issue for me. One thing I noticed, when brewing a pot, I need to add more water than necessary; for example when brewing an 8cup pot, I need to make sure there is more than 8cups of water in the tank otherwise the pot will be short quite a bit. I just plan to keep the tank full and hopefully that will eliminate this problem. Overall, great value so far!

Not the best for me
I love the idea having 2 in 1 ...I can have a small cup or a whole pot. Well, my machine isn’t for me. The ground cup for the pot is hard to insert. Slides hard. The pod side does a fast drip when warming up. The pod side does not use refillable pod (my overlook when purchased). Also the water is not as hot as my older Keurig.

Greaat coffee maker by the cup or pot.
Drinking coffee this minute from this coffee maker. It makes excellent coffee as strong as you want. Have spent almost as much money on different coffees as the Lady enjoys coffee more then I do. Would make an excellent Christmas gift for a coffee lover. Then you can buy the pods for other days. Makes shopping easy. Would buy again.
