I really enjoyed this book even though I was not Wilkos biggest fan (but am now!). I had watched the Oil City DVD and the documentary made regarding Wilko's cancer troubles and wanted to know more about the man as his story touched me greatly. There are some genuinely laugh out loud moments within and his years with Dr Feelgood were great reading but i found myself being more interested towards the end of the book where he details his cancer diagnosis and treatment. The man is a very intelligent inspirational human and this book deepens that even more.
Recommended to all.
Read this to get Wilkos views on the breakup of the original Feelgood after reading Lees book. Good to read what Wilko did afterwards. How he coped with the death of his wife and his own close encounter with death.
