Joe Satriani Surfing with the Alien
Amazing cd! Joe Satriani has and will always be one of my top 3 favorite guitarists of all time (the others being Ace Frehley and George Lynch). This cd just flows and rocks from beginning to end! Listening to the title track, you can picture yourself as the Silver Surfer, well surfing through the Galaxy! Always With Me, Always With You is one of my favorite ballads. When I was much, much younger, I didn't really care for too many instrumental albums....until this one came along and completely changed my opinion/outlook and introduced me to this amazing guitarist!!! Great sound quality for the time period!
This is Joe Satriani shredding as he always has! If you like pure guitar with no lyrics interfering you will love this! It has everything from rock to blues to some tender sounds. Someone mentioned sound quality problems in an earlier review. They must not understand this was originally done in analog and converted to digital. Lows and highs won't be quite as dramatic as today's technology, but it's still a good clean sound. For the price you are practically stealing this one!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Joe Satriani - the Silver Surfer
