Good buy, but not quite able to keep a 10 gal tank clean.
The filter was a great buy, but I think that it is only barely able to keep a 10 gal aquarium clean. I ended up having to use the 2 other submersible filters I have in order to keep the water clean. I was trying to get away from having the submersible filters because the intake has caused me to lose 4 Plecos because they get stuck to the intake. I've tried various methods to try to eliminate the plecos from getting stuck to the filter, but for now I'm gonna give up trying.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Takes up the slack!!!!
I have a 75 gallon community tank. Was running a Marineland 350 with the Bio wheel attachment that runs off the same pump. Was NOT doing the job, so I bought this one to put in line. Almost didn't buy it because of the folks who said loud and all that. Well let me tell you, the hardest thing was disconnecting the inline one that came with the 350. The new one installed easy as pie. Bought extra filter media's so I could run 4 instead of the supplied 2. My tank is crystal clear, can't hear it run unless you stand right on top of it. Nice product with good value
I purchased 2 to replace a couple older filters that have run for years. My aquarium is 115 gal. Just a few days of filtering through carbon rebalanced the water. I will filter through sponges on the daily bases. My only concern is I could not find a flow control. Not an issue in a larger aquarium, but could be in a smaller one. Great value, works reliably and quietly.
This is a great power filter for use with my 29 gallon hex aquarium. Because of the width of the flow lip into the aquarium, I had to make a minor reduction in the lip to allow it to fit into the opening on the top of my enclosed hex aquarium. The best you can buy.
This filter has been on the top of the list for aquarium power filters since it was introduced 20 years ago. When replacing an older filter, this was the one I looked for and I’m so happy I got it. It made a major difference in water quality within a week of installation. Once the bio wheels get started, your nitrate cycle is much better off. The Marineland name is what all the pet stores trust as well, not to mention those big lobster tanks in seafood restaurants. Next size up
This particular product, although suppose to support a 20 gallon tank, is not functional for my tank. I should have purchased a larger size (which I thought I was getting the one for 30 gallons but didn't) even though my tank is only 20 gallons. Even after almost two weeks, I'm still not able to put fish in my tank because the filtration and circulation of the water is still unsafe for fish. Best HOB Aquarium Filter Ever

I love this thing!

Great system
i have used this system(350) for years. I read a review from someone who recommends this system and works for the aquarium in Florida. I trust their knowledge in this area. I also have canister filters however if it springs a leak, it keeps on flowing all over.
