Great Story, draws you in in the first few pages!

This is an amazing novel of the devastating power of family secrets. This secret comes full circle, beginning in the depression era to the transformative 1950’s. It depicts a young girl’s life as a prison and that prison changes into another prison when she is sold to a traveling circus. In her brutal world, she discovers strength and friendship.
