Gets you thinking about life
What I love about this movie is that it gets me thinking about what is important in life. This regular guy, Harold (Will Ferrell), with a regular job all of a sudden hears a voice that tells him that he is going to die. In a panick, he sets out to figure out what is happening to him and why. He talks with a Lit professor (Dustin Hoffman) who tells him that if he really thinks he is going to die then he should start living the life he always wanted. Taking his advice, Harold starts picking up hobbies he always wanted and pursuing the love of a woman he desires. He ends up figuring out that he is in fact the main character of a novel written by a woman who typically kills off her heroes (who to me represents God) and decides that the death she has planned for him was meant to be. I wish the world had more people like Harold in it. It's one of the best movies filled with symbolism I've encountered.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
