NotesLimited 10 CD box set. From her beginnings as part of the Laurel canyon set, Joni Mitchell has gone on to become one of the most accomplished singer/songwriters of the late 20th Century. Throughout her career her music has continued to evolve and astound ranging from Folk, Pop, Jazz and even Avant-garde. Joni Mitchell has many contemporaries like Carole King, Janis Joplin, or Aretha Franklin, but none experimented so much with their artistic identities or so bravely explored territory outside of the accepted confines of pop music, resulting in a creative legacy which paved the way for performers ranging from Patti Smith and Chrissie Hynde to Madonna and Laura Marling. This box set contains 10 of Mitchell's studio albums from 1968 to 1979 and includes her critically and commercially acclaimed albums Blue and Court & Spark. Both have been named as among the best albums ever made with Blue peaking at #3 in the UK albums chart. Hit singles included in the set are 'Both Sides,' 'Now,' 'Big Yellow Taxi,' 'California,' 'Free Man in Paris' and many more. WEA.

Really pleased with these
All lp gatefold sleeves and no horrible bonus tracks disrupting the original artists work. The gatefold sleeves are done envelope style with no fear of the cds falling out,sound quality is nice and clear and neatly packaged ,all her best work with all the art in one little neat boxand easy to take to any room of the house or wherever, very cool , been waiting for these albums sets to be available for the last 3 decades .thanks!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great deal on Joni Mitchell's Early Work

Joni Mitchell just wonderful
