campySci Fi fem fatales
Star Creatures is an attempt at humor early 60's style...The alien tree people are laughable , which makes this more fun...the females look like well endowed strippers, and act accordingly... and the two comic army guys are not funny by today's standards, but my have drawn laughs back in the early 60's...The native American humor is in bad taste, and probably was even in those days. Invasion of the Bee Girls is more entertaining in a consciously campy way and very 70's in style with lots of nudity etc. Of interest is the fact that it is written by Nicholas Meyer, who went on to write some really good Sci Fi movies, such as "Time After Time and the best of the original cast Star Trek movies, which is probably why the script is better than expected.
