valve keeper remover
This tool works great to remove valves but DOES NOT install them back on BMW 325xi. I took all 24 valves off in under 5 mins which was a huge benefit!! Note: please make sure you order the double set and not the single because there is a fat end one and a slim end one

Valve collet tool
As a professional Mechanic I found the tool lacking in some areas, the magnets are no where near strong enough to catch and keep colletts. First time use on a multi valve engine one collett dislodged and fell out, the second collett remained jammed below valve spring retainer and could not be removed. This then caused head removal to use valve spring compressor. Even with head on bench the magnets are not strong enough to catch collets. Tool worked generally well to install the collets. Tool didn't work as it should, better materials needed in construction.

Poor finish from a US manufacturer ..
Whilst the tool certainly does its job perfectly adequately the fit and finish is rather poor, knurling is atrocious, plus one part is knurled and the other is not. I would expect better from a USA manufacturer and can only conclude this is actually an overpriced Chinese product. The storage case is rather well made in contrast. In summary this is a perfectly functional tool let down with a poor fit and finish.

Tool not worth the money
I paid $59 for this tool. It is not worth what I paid for it. I am a certified mechanic. Was working on a 2003 Saturn ion. To replace the valve seals. It took the valve retainers off no problem and I am thinking ok maybe this will work for what I am doing. But in the long run and long story short. I had to end up taking the head off (which costed more money) to put the valve retainers back on. So in my opinion it is not really worth getting.

Let’s see if it works
Tool seems well made. Not sure to be able to compress double spring loaded valves. Will have to put it on test. The idea of the tool looks clever!

Good for domestic and imports
Got this to do valve seals on my Civic while the head was still on the Block. Worked great. Ran a thin rope down the spark plug hole and raise the Piston to top dead center to hold the valves up. This is the only thing that work. AutoZone and O'Reilly rental tools would not work. Took me a day and a half to figure out their supplies suck. Later tried it on my LS 5.3 heads that I had on a bench. It also worked great. Don't know how it would work while the heads are on the block but I can't complain so far. Highly recommended if you're going to do valve seals or any kind of head work more than once

This one is a keeper
This tool is a must for any garage mechanic. Tool is small, lightweight and extremely easy to use. This model came with two different size tools, which handles almost any small block heads. Great tool.

Awesome Product, you do not have to Remove Head From Block to Change Valve Seals This is a Fantastic Tool, I Highly Recommend it.

Best valve tool
After review a bunch of valve removal tools. This is the best and cheapest one as a universal tool. Some are made specific for the engine youre working on for the same price. Other universal tools are more cumbersome to use. Clamps/claws dont fit into tight spots on some engines. So this style of tool is the best universal one. It comes in 2 sizes. One large and one small. Depending on the engine you will use one or the other. Please research how to use the tool properly and you will have no issues with how easy it is to use the tool.

Lisle valve tool
Used on Mitsubishi endeavour 2004. Worked better than any other tool (I have 4 styles of valve tool). Also used on 2011 Nissan juke worked flawless. Literally place tool and hit with hammer for removal. So easy. Zack Templeman
