    Great Lens

    First thing out of the box, you'll notice that this is a nice hefty lens. It's built to last and is a lot bigger than one would expect from such a short focal length. It takes fantastic pictures paired with my D7100 and I love the wide angle even more than I thought I would. There is a little barrel distortion at the 11mm mark, but it's not terrible and makes photos appear more dynamic in most settings. The f/2.8 aperture means that shooting in darker surroundings is a breeze and the focus is pretty fast and accurate as well. Tokina definitely knows how to make a great lens. I would happily buy this lens again!

    Love this for Milky Way and star photography.

    I purchased this lens for a very specific reason based on other reviews I have read. My first attempts at shooting the Milky Way provided me with some very nice shots that would not have been possible without this lens. I have also used it, just briefly, for some landscape W-A shots and those photos are sharp and very clear. I use it with a Nikon D7100 so the autofocus works fine although I manually focus for the star shots. Although I have not tried any other ultra short lenses I don't know how you could beat this for the value and quality.

    Tokina 11-16mm for Niko

    Love this lens! I havr actually eneded up using this as my everyday shooter. Images are sharp and distortion at 11mm is very low. I actually like the extra weight of this lens with my D7100.
