This is a DB-90 Dr Beat metronome from the Boss brand and that has been made in Japan. Designed to help musicians keep time as they play, the DB-90 has a digital interface, allowing players to easily switch time signatures depending on the piece they are playing. Boss
This metronome I purchased on eBay was a lot cheaper than retailers online. The function of it is very useful. Normally I won’t offer any education in sound. But I will tell you this device holds a lot of value. The headphone preamp and instrument preamp are quite useful. I use mine with a small table mic stand.

Love hate
This is the metronome I love to hate. I first experienced this when taking guitar lessons. As with any metronome, this machine keeps a good beat. What sets it above the rest if it's versatility. So many rhythms available, and many kinds of beats to focus on. The best metronome available.

Great for bands

Great value and versatile.

Currently best choice for drummers

Boss did a decent job with this product.
