Love This Movie
I love this Nativity Movie, I watched it several times! It's a great movie and very informative! None are exactly as stated in the word! But it's close and a great learning experience for the family! We enjoyed it! Thanks!

Best Advent/Christmas present to give to yourself and your loved ones
Well, this movie is a must-see, because the birth of Christ is the most important reason for celebrating Christmas. This movie puts that message into prospective beautifully. Of course, we know that historically, the Wise Men or kings, were not present at Jesus’ birth, but that is not the fault of movie’s producers. The Visit of the Magi has been combined with the birth of Christ for eons now. All in all, this movie captures the true essence of what Christ’s birth means for humanity. It means that from the time of his birth, we were saved, so that we can be restored to God’s kingdom ultimately. Wow, what a gift! This movie brings that home. Best Advent/Christmas present you can give yourself and your family, in my opinion.

Perfect title.
Tells of the birth of Jesus. I am a Christian and I have many Christian movies. Loved both Mary and Joseph's characters. They couldn't have picked any better for either of them especially Mary.

The Nativity Story DVD---It shines over others of its type.
This is the BEST movie of the subject that I have ever seen! I saw it on TV and ran right over to Ebay to buy my own copy. The story is well told, and all the elements from costumes to scenery are accurate. The Characters were treated in a very believable way. The details were well plotted out and perfectly in character to the Bible story---many things you never thought about...like Mary's father after it's obvious that she is now pregnant asking "Was it a Roman?" In those days and times it was certainly a concern/fear that a Roman might have forced himself on his daughter. I especially loved how Joseph and Mary united over her pregnancy. I can't recommend this film more highly. You really feel like you are there!

Good acting with a great script
Keisha Castle-Hughes was excellent in her roll as Mary the mother of Yeshua . The Nativity has good acting for a great script. The film rightly shows Jews were very poor and depended on God. The Romans were wealthy, brutal and oppressive. Highly recommend to all.

Informative, but check your Bible
Really enjoyed the authenticity of the time, customs, and environment. Characters very well portrayed. Last bit, though, was not accurate. Whatever number of wise men came, they did NOT see a babe in a manger. They entered a "house" where the child was, sometime later.

God has entered into the world of mankind.
Biblically and culturally correct. The acting reflects the mental and emotional impact of what Mary is expected to do. Both Mary and Joseph struggle with this unimaginable situation, the only time in world history that this took place. Their faith in God enables them to persevere and to obey the call and to demonstrate God's ability to use common ordinary people to accomplish His work.
