John W. Schaum Pre A Book
I'm a piano teacher and have used this book for 40 years. I use two beginning books, but this is always one of them. The students like the songs with words, and I find the skill level of each song progresses just a bit from the last song. Great mid to higher elementary beginner !!
This John W Schaum piano course is made for higher elementary students. The Green Book is a great introductory book but, before you know it they’re playing the 9 beginning notes. The Green Book
I used the Schaum Green Pre-A book when I took lessons in the late 1940's. Saved the book and my daughter used it. Eventually the original book was lost and we purchased this as a replacement for my daughter to use with her daughter. It appears that the book has not been changed too much.
