The feature-length adaptation of Joss Whedon's TV show Firefly, set five hundred years in the future aboard Serenity, a transport ship captained by Capt. Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds. The crew of Serenity takes on any job that will pay, even if it's not exactly legal. Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion), the captain, was on the losing side of a galactic war, and now all he has is his ship, named Serenity, and his loyal crew: his second in command and most trusted ally, Zoe (Gina Torres), her husband, the pilot, Wash (Alan Tudyk), the mechanic, Kaylee (Jewel Staite), and the muscle, Jayne (Adam Baldwin). When Malcolm takes on two new passengers, a young doctor, Simon Tam (Sean Maher) and his unstable, telepathic sister River (Summer Glau) he gets much more than he bargained for. The two are fugitives from The Alliance, the conglomerate that controls the galaxy. River learned something no one was ever supposed to know... and The Alliance will do anything to make sure no one will.

SERENITY (& Firefly) NEED TO BE WATCHED
Serenity the movie and Firefly the series are brilliant, funny, interesting and should not have been axed! I am a Star Trek fan but otherwise not particularly into sci-fi so am delighted to have found (the all too brief) Firefly series and the accompanying movie SERENITY. Perfect casting. Fantastic dialogue. Visually stunning. Great story line. Love it, love it, love them all!!! (Make sure you watch the extras)

Pros - great movie and reasonably cheap Cons - they took off a price sticker from the front cover and left sticky stuff all over the front cover :/

The perfect ending to an amazing show
Serenity is a great follow up to the well loved TV series 'Firefly'. It finishes the storyline off so well. while this is not an official 'signed' item, it is still cool to have the limited edition with the embossed signature. well worth the money
